Buses

The buses are cheap and slow but well worth the effort if you are not in a hurry as they go everywhere.

There are a selection of termini around the outskirts of Sofia, mostly accessed by trams and trolley buses from the central area. Each terminal has buses that cover different outlying areas of the region.

For central area buses you can use the same single journey (.5 lv) tickets as for the trams. To travel further afield get your tickets at the relevant terminal.
